Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Booking details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the workshop and number of seats you book.
• Payment information: card and Apple Pay payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and a payment reference, but we never receive or store your full card number.
• Consent records: when you agree to our policies at checkout, we store that you agreed and the date/time.
• Basic technical data needed to run the site (for example, a secure session cookie for the instructor admin area). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use your information

• To process your booking and payment and reserve your seat.
• To send you booking confirmations and class details by email.
• To contact you about changes to a session you've booked.
• To keep records required for accounting, safety, and legal reasons.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Service providers we use

We share information only with the providers that help us run the service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — secure database hosting for your booking records.
• Resend — sending your confirmation emails.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Each processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and access it;
• Request that we correct or delete it;
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information; and
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Data retention

We keep booking and consent records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and safety obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

Children's privacy

Bookings for participants under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
